P.S. The picture above is created by a block recursive algorithm developed for computation of auditory spectrograms. Any type of auditory frequency scale can be used (see. Eurospeech'97). Five pitch periods of Finnish /e/ vowel are analyzed (time-ERB-rate analysis).
